Artist Of The Month November 2010

With moving and unpacking I have been neglecting my blog.  I even missed posting my artist of the month for November!  I wanted to feature Philippa.  She does some amazing quilling.
Make sure to visit her blog and see all the great work she does!

You can also visit her store to purchase some of her great work.  She even has watches that have her quilling inside.  What great gifts those would make for Christmas!

  5. Hi, I have been looking through your cards and quillings, beautiful work. I was wondering could you answer a question for me... I quilled some things to use as christmas ornaments, I was wondering what can I use so that if they get accidently pushed the center of the quilling won't move so easily. I was thinking something like a spray starch, but didn't want to waste money on it in case I am completely wrong in using that.
BTW I added your site to my page, hope that is ok.

  6. Hi sleeplesswonder
I suggest you strengthen your quillings by brushing them all over with PVA glue (which dries clear) and then spray with varnish. Then they'll be really tough!
