Basic Quilled Shapes

I was looking over my posts the other day and in all the time I've been giving tutorials I haven't ever given you the basics of quilling. The shapes are very important in all the quilling you do. So here's a copy for you to use as reference and to practice. This will help you on future projects and tutorials I have for you. If ever you need another one or want to share with a friend, it's on the tutorial sidebar under basic quilled shapes. Don't forget, on the Scribd page under "more" you can print it from there. Thanks!

Flower Soft is acid free and is loved by card makers and
scrap-bookers alike.
I finally got mine and wanted to share my first card with you. You can click on the image to see it close up. It is so easy to use too! You can watch my video tutorial HERE.

Another Passion Of Mine

I know you all are used to seeing quilling, cards and crafts but.......... I thought I would share one of my other passions in "Eco art" that I do. I re-purpose old hardback books and do different folds for each of the pages. You then can put them on a stand or hang them on a wall. I thought I would share one of them with you.
Hope you enjoy!

Quilled Post It Note Holders

I thought I would share some altered coasters that I turned into post it note holders. I was excited to get my new paper from the Stampin' Up! Sale - A - Bration. I ordered all of my products from Anne and was able to choose a bunch of free stuff! The sale ends on March 31st so you should place an order. So here's what I did with my new paper and some quilled flowers. Click on any image to enlarge. Enjoy!

Men's Shirt Card Tutorial

Sometimes I do more than quilling..........sometimes. I did add a quilled rose to the pocket so I guess that statement is false :) I wanted to share a tutorial on a men's shirt card I created. It is for the upcoming card swap at Anne's studio. I placed more photos at the end of the tutorial so you could see all four different shirt patterns. Enjoy!

Silly Little Scribd!

I recently changed over to Scribd for a place to store my tutorials. It is also a great way to be able to post them to blogger. With Scribd you can post on blogger and your followers or visitors can email, print, get the code or save them to your computer for later viewing.
It's a great new tool I found and wanted to share it with you. So take a look at my tutorials as they have been transformed using Scribd. The links are on the side bar or scroll down a bit. You can also click on the upper right corner of the Scribd box for a full size view of your document.
Scribd takes up less room on your blog so you can fit more on one page too!
