Have A Bright Quilled Birthday!

This past week was Anne's birthday. Happy birthday Anne! She's my Stampin' Up! demonstrator who has brought me into this whole new world of stamping. You can look at her great blog and order all your Stampin' Up! stuff HERE. Anne let me teach a quilling class in her fabulous studio and one of the new quillers wanted to learn how to quill a birthday balloon. I thought I'd post a tutorial for everyone as it is so easy to do!

And The Winner Is..................

I first wanted to take an opportunity to thank Lisa for hosting the 3rd annual One World~One Heart Extravaganza! It has brought all of us bloggers together to meet one another and to share some awesome ideas. Thank you Lisa and I can't wait until next year! Info about the event and what I had up for grabs is here.

Let's get these technicalities out of the way. I used Random.Org as my way to pick the winner. I was going to call on the blog fairy but she was awfully busy with all of these drawings going on. Here is the Random.Org info:

Congratulations Karla and thanks to everyone who entered in my drawing. It was a wonderful experience and I can't wait to start carousing around your blogs now!

Yea For Me!

I just wanted to pass on a quick note that I entered this card in a Valentine's Day card contest and it won 2nd place!
I made the card using quilled hearts that you learned from a tutorial posted earlier on my blog.
You can see where I entered and what I won from
Lark Books here.

I also used stamps that I bought from my favorite Stampin' Up demonstrator Anne! Make sure to keep following my blog for more tutorials and visit Anne's site for great Stampin' Up ideas and products!
