Floating Watercolor Technique

My favorite Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Anne had a great class on floating watercolor using embossing and a bit of water with some ink refills. The flowers came out amazing. The photo is one of the flowers that she created and you can see her tutorial HERE.

What I Made Using "Making Your Own Fabric Flowers"

A lot of people were asking what I was making when I made my video on Making Your Own Fabric Flowers. they are. I had to make 200 wedding favors for a customer of mine. I finally finished them! I needed all of the flowers to be the same but didn't want to purchase those expensive one's. So be sure to watch the video on how you can make your own!

Look What I Finally Found!

I had one of these when I was a kid. It's a vintage Hazel's quilling set. It comes with the quill quiky winder and the quill designer. It was made in the early 70's. Now I had to post this because you HAVE NO IDEA how long I have been looking for one of these. Probably about 25 years. Shhhhh, I'm aging myself. I had one when I was a kid and loved it for quilling. I would check on eBay everyday hoping someone would have one. Tada! Someone finally did! This other person and myself where on a bidding war. I know I paid wayyyy too much but I had to have it! YAY!
